I'm confused...

They have a new album coming out.

They sent promo copies to radio stations.

thats pretty standard....

What happened was they released their one "single".

The album got leaked on the internet.

So, (I assume) to save the radio stations from being ignored, they released one song a day to them as a new "single".

It wasn't them releasing them all as singles because they thought they were all great.

(as they shouldn't, because they all happen to suck)

Plus, the single is what causes songs to be overplayed and become intolerable.

If more bands released their whole album to radio stations, this wouldn't happen as much, as the stations might play 10 songs 1 time instead of 1 song 10 times.
